Ben King founded Quarry View Construction in 2008 at the age of 21, in partnership with his father and brothers. His passion is to see people's lives transformed by exceeding the requirements and expectations of his partners, employees and customers.
Ben lived on a dairy farm at the northern end of Lancaster County, PA until he was 8 years old. As part of a conservative community, he was accustomed to joining his father and others in the community in traditional barn raisings. Early in life, he learned to be self-sufficient in all aspects of his life. He attended a private Amish school until 8th grade and at age 16 took his first construction job with a local post frame construction company as a laborer. He worked his way up to Job Foreman by the time he was 18.
Ben is married and has a son. In his spare time he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Benjamin began his career with Quarry View Construction in 2010 as a driver for the work crews. In 2012, Benjamin became a foreman of one of the two construction crews. In 2014, he took on his newest role as Sales Manager, where he enjoys meeting new people and serving others.
Benjamin grew up in an Amish community just south of Lancaster County and participated in many traditional community barn raisings. He also helped his family build fram sheds, barns and garages.
Benjamin's also has a passion for the art of music and he is currently pursuing a career in music. He is also an avid reader, always trying to learn new things.
Paul joined Quarry View Construction in 2013 and currently works with the sales team to finalize building designs, create video presentations and render preliminary drawings for prospective customers using 3D rendering software. Along with preliminary
construction drawings as needed Paul immensely enjoys designing projects and then seeing his designs become reality.
Paul began working in construction when he was 18, starting his career at a steel construction company driving for Amish employees who didn't have drivers' licenses. Later, Paul transferred to a field crew and became a full-time construction laborer. After a year and a half working in the field, Paul transferred to the drafting department where he learned how to use AutoCAD and Sketchup to create architectural concept drawings, steel erection and fabrication drawings and trim fabrication and installation drawings.
Levi King has worked for Quarry View Construction since it was founded in 2008. He currently works as Project Manager and Coordinator, while handling material take offs. He most enjoys interacting with customers and building relationships in an environment with opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
Levi has over 8 years of experience in the construction industry and worked performing post frame construction for 2 years before joining Quarry View Construction.
Levi grew up among the Amish in Lancaster County and learned the value of hard work and community. As a boy he often worked in a small shop at home where he learned the basics of woodworking. In his spare time, Levi enjoys playing volleyball and softball.
Chris began working at Quarry View Construction in June 2008. He is currently a Project Manager / Design Consultant. He is passionate about capturing the customer’s vision, and working with the Quarry View Construction team to bring it to reality.
Chris grew up Amish and was taught the value of hard work early in life. As a young boy He enjoyed going to Amish barn raising . And building crafts in a small woodworking shop his family owned. Thus acquiring a lot of skills he now uses at Quarry View Construction.
In his leisure time Chris enjoys Hiking, Dancing and seeking new adventures.
Ben joined the team at Quarry View Construction as a Laborer in September of 2012. He currently handles grounds maintenance, staining and detail work in addition to his duties as foreman. He most enjoys the positive atmosphere of the team and the chance to grow and make a difference in the lives of customers.
Ben grew up on an Amish farm in southern Lancaster County where he learned the value of workmanship and integrity. Growing up with horses also helped him develop a passion for building detailed equestrian facilities. He learned the trade from his father, who built and remodeled his own buildings at home.
